Description
ebm-papst R4D500-AT03-01 (also known as R4D500AT0301) is a heavy-duty, unhoused backward-curved AC motorized centrifugal impeller powered by a 3-phase M4D138-HF external rotor motor with an impeller diameter of Ø500 mm (19.69 in). Operating on 230 VAC (Delta) or 400 VAC (Star) at 50 Hz, it delivers high-volume aerodynamic output up to 4,897 CFM (8,320 m³/h) and back pressures up to 2.21 in H₂O (550 Pa) with an input power rating of 1,430 W at 1,375 RPM. Constructed with a 9-blade sheet aluminum impeller and a die-cast aluminum rotor, this unit features IP54 environmental sealing, integrated thermal overload protection (TOP), dual ball bearings, and a halogen-free 9-conductor lateral connection cable.
Key Features
- Aerodynamic Impeller Architecture: Delivers 4,897 CFM (8,320 m³/h) airflow utilizing a precision-engineered 9-blade backward-curved sheet aluminum impeller wheel.
- Dual-Voltage 3-Phase Motor: Driven by an external rotor M4D138-HF motor configurable for 230V Delta or 400V Star operation.
- Integrated Thermal Protection: Embedded thermal overload protector (TOP) with basic insulation safeguards motor windings against persistent thermal overload.
- Industrial Ingress Sealing: Rated IP54 with environmental class F3-1 and dual condensation drainage holes on rotor and stator sides.
- Rugged Aluminum Construction: Features a corrosion-resistant cast aluminum rotor surface and sheet aluminum blades suited for harsh thermal environments.
- Continuous S1 Duty Rating: Premium ball bearing system supports unrestricted installation angles and continuous round-the-clock industrial duty.

Applications
ebm-papst R4D500-AT03-01 motorized centrifugal impellers are engineered for air handling units (AHUs), central plenum fan arrays, and commercial rooftop HVAC supply modules. They provide primary circulation in cleanroom fan filter units (FFUs), data center computer room air handlers (CRAH), and precision server hall perimeter cooling systems. Furthermore, these units serve as exhaust and intake blowers in commercial heat recovery ventilators, industrial spray booth exhaust ducts, and power converter cooling enclosures.
