Description
The ebm-papst D2E097-BI56-48 (also known as D2E097BI5648) is an industrial dual-inlet forward-curved AC centrifugal blower integrated into a rugged hot-dip galvanized sheet steel scroll housing with discharge mounting flange. Powered by an internal-rotor M2E052-CA single-phase motor, it delivers airflow rates up to 255 CFM (435 m³/h) at 50 Hz and 240 CFM (410 m³/h) at 60 Hz against high system back pressures up to 280 Pa (1.12 in H₂O). Built with maintenance-free ball bearings and an internally wired thermal overload protector (TOP), this compact blower operates reliably in any universal mounting orientation. Electrical hookup is facilitated through a factory-installed four-conductor PVC cable terminated with crimped splices and a dedicated protective earth conductor.
Key Features
- Dual-Inlet Scroll Construction: Hot-dip galvanized sheet steel housing and forward-curved impeller provide exceptional aerodynamic efficiency in high-impedance ducted circuits.
- Robust Internal-Rotor Motor: Precision-balanced M2E052-CA motor incorporates dual maintenance-free ball bearings rated for continuous S1 duty cycle operation.
- Integral Thermal Protection: Internally connected thermal overload protector instantly guards motor windings against over-temperature conditions and locked rotor incidents.
- Universal Mounting Orientation: Engineered without condensation drainage holes to permit flexible, safe installation in horizontal, vertical, or inverted spatial positions.
- Pre-Terminated Connection Cable: Features a durable four-wire PVC lead assembly with crimped splices for straightforward hookup to run capacitors.
