Description
ebm-papst R2E180-AH05-06 (also known as R2E180AH0506) is an unhoused AC backward-curved motorized centrifugal fan engineered for high-temperature hot-air circulation, powered by an integrated M2E068-DF external rotor motor with an Ø180 mm (7.09 in) galvanized sheet-steel impeller. Operating on a single-phase 230 VAC (50/60 Hz) supply, the unit achieves rotational speeds of 2600 RPM (50 Hz) / 2850 RPM (60 Hz), drawing 115 W / 155 W while generating airflows up to 264.9 CFM (450 m³/h) / 317.8 CFM (540 m³/h) and back pressures up to 1.61 in H₂O (400 Pa). Built with Class F insulation, robust dual ball bearings, and single-side mounting brackets, the assembly operates reliably in continuous S1 duty at ambient temperatures reaching up to 100 °C (212 °F). Direct electrical connection is streamlined via an integrated axial terminal block with a dedicated M4 chassis ground fastener.
Key Features
- High-Temperature Impeller: Acid- and rust-resistant galvanized sheet steel construction engineered for hot-air continuous operation up to 100°C.
- External Rotor Drive: Integrated single-phase M2E068-DF motor delivers compact, vibration-damped power with high aerodynamic efficiency.
- Precision Ball Bearings: Maintenance-free dual ball bearing assembly rated for continuous S1 duty in horizontal shaft mounting orientations.
- Integrated Terminal Strip: Axial terminal strip termination ensures straightforward wiring with color-coded lead connections and dedicated M4 grounding.
- Aerodynamic Air Delivery: Produces up to 317.8 CFM airflow and 400 Pa back pressure for dense thermal plenum circulation.

Applications
ebm-papst R2E180-AH05-06 is primarily utilized in commercial convection cooking ovens, industrial curing and drying chambers, and climate simulation test chambers requiring continuous hot-air recirculation. It is widely installed across bakery deck ovens, reflow soldering equipment, shrink-wrap heat tunnels, and environmental incubation enclosures where elevated chamber temperatures demand acid-resistant, high-temperature impellers. Plant engineers also deploy this motorized unit as a direct replacement component during MRO service overhauls of industrial sterilization cabinets and thermal processing machinery.
